Our Legacy

Just like a great ride, we've had a lot of fun twists and turns on this journey. Without the great crew of people that have worked with us along the way, there would be no story or history to share. For all of you who have worked with us over the years, we are forever grateful.

Here are a few highlights of our history

• In the mid-1960s, the dealership originally began as Cycle Center of Fremont and was run by Kenny Evilsizor and his brother John.

• In June 1988, the dealership moved to a new location, which was one of the first themed Harley-Davidson® dealerships in the country. It sported a classic 1950's style, with black and white checkered floors, teal walls, and neon signage.

• In April 2005, the current owners purchased the dealership.

• In May 2012, the dealership earned an exclusive contract to provide California Highway Patrol motorcycles…as well as the next six bids! Over that time, we built over 450 CHP motorcycles.

• In July 2018 partner Dan retired. Despite being an off-site owner, Dan played a critical role in our success, and without his contribution we would not be where we are today.

Today, the dealership is owned by Mike and Jess. Native Californians, they both worked in their individual family businesses from a very young age and met each other in high school. 

Both owners are on-site, working with staff and guests throughout the store, with Mike as the store lead and Jess leading the vehicle sales team. Their practice is to not sit back on their former accomplishments, but rather daily continue to share their passion for motorcycling and Harley-Davidson.
